The Optimization Process
Along with orienting the free-form roof's low side to the prevailing wind direction, we created a cold area where the wind is entering the building. With the natural rule of hot air levitating high, and using the organic form of the roof we smoothly directed this hot air outwards ; creating a natural airflow during the hot days of the year.
